Biography

Gumru Nuri Ahundzada

A driven and versatile musician from Västerås with over ten years of experience as a pianist, accordionist, and organist. Their musical career has been shaped by a solid education at Lilla Akademien and continues at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where artistic expression, technique, and ensemble skills are developed at an advanced level.

Over the years, their repertoire has been performed in both solo and chamber music contexts at concerts, festivals, and international competitions, resulting in several awards and scholarships. Musical projects have ranged from classical works to innovative collaborations, encompassing both live performances and studio recordings.

In addition to their own artistic activities, they are deeply committed to pedagogy, regularly teaching piano and accordion with an emphasis on musical understanding, ergonomics, and long-term development for their students. Engagement in music societies and cultural initiatives has contributed to creating inclusive and vibrant musical environments, founded on culture, community, and creativity.
